Apollo 11

We maked the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission with a series of programmes on The Space Show. Many of these were based around recordings we made at the Moon Village Association, and were looking towards the future of lunar exploration and utilisation. These can be found in our 2019 Lectures page.

We also prepared 224 hourly two-minute news reports as they might have been broadcast in Australia in 1969 to tell the story of Apollo 11 from countdown through to splashdown. These were timed for broadcast at 20 minutes before the hour, and told mission events in Australian Eastern time.
