For reasons I still do not understand, we were all bussed back along the Saturn Causeway to the News Center at 9 am, only to return to the pad at 9:30 am. After a wait the huge structure began to swing open in a clockwise direction. Little by little, the gleaming white of the Discovery's back and wings came into view. Eventually the entire STS 131 stack was revealed to our admiring stares.
