Warbird Air Museum

An aircraft used in the sometimes overlooked first "A" of the NASA acronym - "aeronautics."
Another view of this research aircraft.
The Super Sabre will always be a favourite aircraft. Note the helicopter behind the Sabre. The first helicopter I ever saw was of this type, and even today the fist image that comes to mind when I hear the word "helicopter" is of this one.

On Saturday morning I went to the Warbird Air Museum in Titusville.

Situated on the boundary of the Space Center Regional Airport, this museum is the home of the Valliant Air Command. It has a vast collection of military aviation memorabilia and aircraft, some of which still fly.
