After the Astrovan and the black armoured escort vehicle had departed, I took some photos of a "Go Discovery" banner, signed by hundreds of KSC workers, which had been hidden from view by the Astrovan. Perhaps it had been there during the STS 131 walkout on April 5. If so, I hadn't noticed it, what with the excitement, the media scrum, and it being dark. (Postscript: The banner was there, but was hidden by the Astrovan, and only a tiny edge of it is visible in my photographs.)
