| The STS 132 stack settles in for its first day at Pad 39A. |
Sitting there, gleaming in the early morning sunshine was the STS 132 stack, fully exposed. The Rotating Service Structure had still not been moved to surround the Atlantis' body.
I later sent a joking text message back to Australia that I had been intimate with Atlantis and that she had posed naked for me in the early morning sunshine!
By this I meant that I had been very close to Atlantis inside the Vehicle Assembly Building and that here she was not yet enveloped by the pad structure.
