February 26 Project Mercury To mark the 35th anniversary of the flight of John Glenn, the project history from inception to the flight of Friendship 7.
March 5 Pioneer 10 To mark the 25th anniversary of the launch of Pioneer 10, a description of the craft, its mission, findings and current status.
April 23 Apollo 16 To mark the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 16 lunar landing mission. The clifhanger descent to the moon, the landing, the moonwalks, liftoff and return to Earth.
July 2 Isaac Newton and the Principia Commemorating the 310th anniversary of the publication of The Principia, an exploration of the importance of the book.

August 13 The Creation of the Universe An extract from Timothy Ferris' movie Creation of the Universe to introduce John Ellis, studio interview. Extract covered the four forces of nature.
