From the Apollo Space Walk of Fame it was a short stroll across the road to the Gemini Monument and Park. Plaques in the ground and on pedestals commemorate the Gemini astronauts. One walks along a sunny path which runs parallel to the similar Mercury walk that I had visited a week before.

| Gemini 3 was the first manned Gemini. The name the astronauts gave the capsule so offended NASA officialdom that other Gemini astronauts were forbidden from naming their spacecraft. |
