Nearby was the astronaut memorial, which I thought was curiously placed. Not only was it facing north, away from the sun, but it was next to a road on which stopping is strictly prohibited. Yes, one could walk right up to it from the side, but there was no opportunity to see it from a distance that would allow one to photograph it in its entirety.
