The Shuttle Launch Experience was, as its name suggests, a simulated ride on the space shuttle. It tilted back, shook vigorously and made lots of noise.
In the associated exit shop I bought a commemorative medallion, supposedly one of only 5000 made in 2007. I did ask how come, if only 5000 were minted, they had so many left for sale - less than 5000 sold in 1000 days would be fewer than five per day. The response was that the item had not been popular, which was why it was now selling at a discount.
