Astronaut Hall of Fame

I spent much of the afternoon at the Astronaut Hall of Fame.

A painting by Alan Bean, the fourth person to set foot on the Moon, serves a backdrop at the entrance to the sculpture "The Spirit of Space" in the entry foyer of the Astronaut Hall of Fame. A lunar module of the type used to land twelve astronauts on the Moon.

I touch a piece of Mars. A meteorite which fell to Earth has been shown to have been blasted off Mars by an asteroid collision. It is mounted in a plastic model of Olympus Mons, the largest volcanoe in the Solar System.
